Monique Carr is a nationally acclaimed, award winning modern impressionist oil painter.  Her most prestigious honor was to be accepted into the Best of America Show.  She grew up in Montreal, Canada and moved to East Tennessee in 1999 with her husband after spending 10 years in the Cayman Islands.  Carr says, "I'm so  grateful to do what I love, and I thank God for that.  My focus in painting is to capture the mystery and beauty of nature, as well as the harmony, colors, movement, and texture to create drama."
