Jeremy Sams has been a professional artist for more than 20 years and has achieved the ability to make his acrylic paintings look like oil paintings. As a traditional representational impressionist painter, Sams always shows the viewer his light source, which makes his paintings glow and depict the play of shadow versus light. Sams says, "My goal is to capture the light and atmosphere in a particular moment of time. I hope that capturing God's light will help bring peace and hope to the viewer." Sam's list of awards is quite long, but his biggest honor was being invited into the exclusive artists' group, "Blue Ridge Realists."
