Jean Pollock's oil paintings have been collected worldwide, and her list of awards is many pages long. A traditional impressionist, Pollock has even painted in Monet's Garden and throughout Europe. Pollock says, "My philosophy is that God made the earth so beautiful that I simply have to express how I feel about the beauty that God has created. I love nature and I just can't see painting anything else. I want the viewers of my work to feel the awe and excitement that I feel when I see beauty in nature." Her influences are Monet, Wolf Kahn, Richard Schmid, and the Russian impressionists.
