D irections: A lta Vista Gallery is located in Valle Crucis, North Carolina, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. F rom the E and S: From NC Hwy 105 (between Boone and Linville) turn onto Broadstone Road (SR1112). There are signs to Valle Crucis and the turn is at a traffic light, by the Watauga River bridge. Alta Vista is on Broadstone Road on the left, 2.7 miles from NC Hwy 105. We are a brick two-story with green tin roof and a green sign and flag that say "Gallery Alta Vista." From the N and W: From 421/321 west of Boone, take Hwy 194 to Valle Crucis. In Valle Crucis, continue STRAIGHT on Broadstone Road (SR1112), instead of turning right to stay on 194 toward Banner Elk. Alta Vista is on the right, 0.2 mile past the original Mast General Store. We are a brick two-story with green tin roof and a green sign and flag that say "Gallery Alta Vista."
